The LA County Dept. of Public Health Peer Health Advocate (PHA) Leadership Conference 2025 focused on pioneering peer advocacy through leadership, mentorship, and education. PHA’s gain advocacy skills and knowledge of local resources. Students learned and will take their new skills and knowledge back to their home communities and continue to become strong advocates for the health of their communities.
In April 2025, CareerConfidence facilitated an engaging educational workshop for the LA County Dept. of Public Health Peer Health Advocate Leadership Conference to support 60+ middle and high school students as they prepare for their future.

This session equipped participants with essential skills to craft standout resumes showcasing their achievements and master interview fundamentals, including behavioral questions. CareerConfidence’s aim was to build their confidence in creating resumes they're proud of and interviewing like professionals for their future success.
